A career spent between the idea and reality.
Special Projects Co. is the independent practice of Matt Grey — a Design & Delivery Strategist with almost 30 years’ experience realising unusual physical projects.
Founder · Design & Delivery Strategist
Matt works where architecture, art, engineering, fabrication and construction overlap. He has spent his career turning singular concepts into resolved physical realities — from early feasibility and technical development through to manufacture and installation.
Personal judgement.
Specialist depth.
The practice is deliberately independent. You work directly with Matt, supported by a specialist network assembled for the commission.
Experience spans permanent artworks, experimental architecture, kinetic experiences, temporary structures and ambitious material challenges. The constant is the judgement needed to connect an extraordinary idea to a credible physical outcome.
